Sate Prawns with Vermicelli or Rice
Ingredients:
- 300g prawns, peeled and deveined
- 2 tbsp Nha Toi Sate sauce
- 1 tsp sea salt or fish sauce
- Fresh herbs: cilantro, mint, Thai basil
- Cucumber, pickled carrots/daikon (optional)
- Cooked vermicelli noodles or jasmine rice
- Vietnamese fish sauce dressing (nuoc cham) for topping
Instructions:
- Marinate the Prawns:
Mix prawns with sate sauce, fish sauce, sugar, and garlic in a bowl. Let marinate for 15–20 minutes. - Cook the Prawns:
Grill or air-fry marinated prawns for 4–6 minutes, or until pink and cooked through. - Prepare Base:
Serve over a bed of vermicelli noodles or jasmine rice. Add sliced cucumbers and pickled vegetables if desired. - Top and Garnish:
Drizzle with Vietnamese fish sauce dressing and garnish with fresh herbs.
